Curriculum Writer - Middle School Blended ELA (Contractor)

Edovate Learning Corp. is currently seeking innovative and creative current or former middle school English language arts educators and curriculum writers to remotely develop chapters. Each chapter includes the following components: worktext, instructor guide, and digital content. This position is a contract position that is compensated based on a fixed development fee. This position starts May and will go through approximately July 2024.

Responsibilities

• Write chapter content based on a set of given writers' guidelines, templates, and acceptance criteria
• Develop content for both student-facing and instructor-facing texts that are aligned to given chapter objectives
• modify or revise content to incorporate feedback from reviewers and internal staff, as needed
• Develop unit review chapters
• Manage your own workflow within deadlines to ensure deliverables are completed on time
• Communicate effectively and regularly with team members and internal staff via project management software (ClickUp), email, and telephone (as needed).
• Attend any training and meetings as necessary

Requirements

• Experience teaching middle school ELA
• Experience developing middle school ELA chapters
• Experience developing Project-Based Learning activities
• Ability to write multiple middle school ELA chapters per week

Pay rate: $175 per completed chapters
